Butterfly Pea Flower Tea

 

Ingredients:

6 butterfly pea flowers (dried)

1 mug, just boiled and slightly cooled, water

 

What to do:

Gently place the flowers at the bottom of a mug and add the water.  

Allow to infuse for around 3 minutes.

Sip slowly.

 

This tea was introduced to me by a beautiful women working in a herb store in Malaysia.  I'd stumbled out of the jungle and looked a bit rough around the edges!   

The blue colour is absolutely divine and this tea really is heavenly.

Needing to calm down, relax or chill out?  Then this is the tea to try.

 

You can also drink this chilled like the picture above.  Brilliant for picnics and parties.

Or add some blueberries and freeze - it makes great bright blue lollypops!
