Getting started

Recipe: Live Food Wraps

A real fast food!  These take around five minutes to prepare, they taste great and are easy to adapt with whatever veggies you have in your fridge.  If you don’t have sauerkraut handy then tahini and lemon juice or a mashed avocado, are also easy alternatives to give it some moisture.   They need to be eaten relatively soon after making as can get soggy or fall apart if you leave them for too long!

 

Ingredients:

2 seaweed wraps

Handful fresh herbs

1 carrot - shredded

2 mushrooms sliced

handful mixed seeds 

2 large tablespoons sauerkraut

 

What to do:

Place the wraps on a clean surface.

Add the fresh herbs, carrots, mushroms and seeds.

Top with sauerkraut and roll up.

Sit and say thanks, take a deep breath, relax and then eat!
